Head of Macau Operations

Responsibilities:

Vision, Goals and Strategy Development

Develop and implement the long-term and short-term business strategy with the intention to create a Macau oriented business operation under the umbrella and support from Hong Kong as well as creating synergy with the team in Hong Kong. Strong awareness on economic, market, industry and competitors’ practices and trends to ensure that the strategies of the business are relevant and will be adjusted if needed to deliver the business goals.

 

Business Metrics and Delivery

Accountable for developing and delivering key financial metrics and other business KPIs. Based on business strategy and key priorities for the business, this position works with the cross-functional leadership team to identify key business metrics, reviews it with them regularly to ensure delivery (eg. Same Store Sales Growth, Net Builds, Profitability etc.)

 

Operations Excellence

Drive Operation Excellence by leveraging global best practices, learning from the industry practices and ensuring that we comply with both local and global standards.

 

Business Development

Establish long-term Market Development Strategy which covers assessing market potential, future restaurant growth, strategic location of restaurants and ensuring the optimal construction cost and restaurant design.

 

Digital/E-commerce

Works closely with Digital Heads in the group to develop the Digital/E-commerce strategy which is a critical enabler and driver of growth in terms Consumer access to purchase, experience and loyalty to our brand.

 

Organization Development – Macau Restaurant Support Center (RSC)

This position is accountable for ensuring that we have the right capability in terms of structure, people, systems and processes to deliver our goals and strategy. Build, lead and optimize the Macau RSC with the best balance in cost efficiency and understanding of Macau local knowledge.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

 

Holder of university degree in Business Management or related disciplines

General management experience. Experience in leading and implementing cross functional strategies and plans will be an advantage

Experience working for global brand, ideally in F&B or Retail industry

Familiar with Macau local law and practices will be a plus

Demonstrates strong strategic and forward thinking

Entrepreneur mindset

Strong business & commercial acumen

Good stakeholder and time management. Courage to provide constant feedback in shaping the role

Willing to have hands on restaurant operations experience

Excellent communication skills

Proficient in Chinese language (Mandarin) – both spoken and written skills
