Senior Manager - Supply Chain Management

Principle responsibilities

  • Act as key liaison between supply chain team and Leadership Team.
  • Develop, improve and ensure delivery of logistics/supply chain strategies in order to support business objectives and profitability
  • Responsible for the effective running of the supply chain and logistics functions for KFCHK; has oversight for all or most of the following: procurement, inventory control, transportation & distribution (import and export), warehousing, demand and supply planning, food safety risk management, business continuity planning and risk management for product supply and supplier management etc.
  • Manage supplier network to maintain a stable and cost effective supply chain for business continuity and growth.
  • Develop supply chain excellence tools and processes, tracks relevant KPIs and based on analysis of relevant information that lead to further improvements.
  • Drive supply chain activities ensures full compliance with Group policies, procedures and standards and Franchisor requirements.
  • Drive employee engagement and build supply chain talent, in order to deliver the business strategy.
  • Provide excellent and timely Supply Chain and Logistics service to operations, whilst controlling cost and quality.
  • Partner with Operations and other functions to formulate longer-term demand-supply planning for effective procurement and inventory control.
  • Drive supply chain improvement initiatives in line with the overall objectives of improving service and reducing supply chain costs.
  • Avoid supply chain disruption happening in the business and establish a contingency plan to overcome global supply chain issues. Stabilize the forces of the team and work with suppliers on both short and long-term alternative planning. In the meantime, well plan on inventory stock level to prevent overstock nor out of stock.
  • Work with Marketing and R&D team on new product introduction and material sourcing in line with specifications, lead time, cost and margin targets.
  • Work with QA to ensure suppliers meet Food Safety Compliance Check standard.

 

Key Stakeholders

  • Represent supply chain function in the Leadership Team.
  • Work with other supply chain leaders within JRG.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, R&D, QA, Finance and other functions.
  • Liaison with Group and Franchisor policy holders.
  • Contact with local and regional supply chain partners and suppliers.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree and Post graduate qualifications in Supply Chain Management.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience and leading a team
  • Excellent communicator and comfortable at all levels.
  • Passionate about how supply chain is an enabler for business growth.
  • A good change agent.
  • High ethical standards and strong integrity, with zero tolerance towards unethical business practices (e.g. kickbacks, anti-competitive actions, etc)
  • D365 and NAV system exposure is a plus.
